Clarence A. “Buzz” Easter, 91, of Little Hocking, died April 24, 2022, at the Belpre Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Buzz was born May 11, 1930, in Circleville, Ohio, and was the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Shoemaker) Easter.

Buzz was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He was self-employed as a drywall contractor. He was a member of the Belpre Masonic Lodge 609 and a member of the Gospel Baptist Church in Torch, Ohio. He enjoyed golf, hunting and gardening.

Buzz is survived by his loving wife Barbara Lee Easter; son David Wayne Easter of Meigs County, Ohio; brother Forest Easter (Peggy) and sisters Eleanor June Shaffer and Joy Wood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Don Fredrick Easter; a sister Joanne Dawson and brothers-in-law Bill Shaffer and Melvin Wood.

The family would like to thank the nurses of Buckeye Hospice and Palliative Care for their wonderful care and support.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday April 28, 2022, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre, with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Belpre.
